Logo contest

   The Plymouth Soccer Club is rebranding and will now be known as the “Colonial Soccer Club.” To help with the rebranding effort, the Club is sponsoring a logo contest.

1. The logo must be submitted on 8 ½ x 11 paper. Your name, address and phone number must be on the back side of the paper. Mail all entries to: Colonial Soccer Club, PO Box 130, Blue Bell, Pa 19422 by October 31, 2010. Winners will be announced at the December club meeting.

2. The logo must have the words “Colonial Soccer,” “Colonial Soccer Club” or “Colonial Soccer Club, Inc.”

3. The logo must contain the club colors of Red, Black and White.

4. Any logo submitted that is offensive or otherwise viewed as being in bad taste will be rejected in the sole discretion of the Board.

1. Overall Visual Impact:

   1. The logo must identify at a glance that it is for a soccer club, ideally one that is independent, and not associated with any governmental agency or school district.

2. Eligible Participants:

   1. Any interested person (including amateur and professional artists and graphic designers) is encouraged to submit an entry.

   2. All entries become the property of Colonial Soccer Club, Inc. and will not be returned. Colonial Soccer Club, Inc. reserves the right to use more than one entry in various designs as it builds its corporate brand.

   3. No royalties will be paid and no recognition on the logo or brand effort itself will be made of the winner; however, the winner will be acknowledge in the official records of Colonial Soccer Club, Inc. and the winner will be eligible to receive a prize as set forth below.

3. Contest Prize:

   1. The winner of the contest will receive a cash award of $250.

   2. Board members, coaches and players are eligible to participate in the contest and to submit a logo candidate, and they are eligible to receive a prize; however, if an eligible entrant happens to be a Board member, or an ancestor or lineal descendant of an active member of the Board of Directors of the Colonial Soccer Club, Inc., such active Board member may not participate in the judging or awarding of any prizes.

   3. The Board of Directors reserves the right, at anytime, to reject all entrants without awarding any prizes, and engage a professional artist to design a logo for the Club.
